HP Officejet 672

I have a Officejet 672 that am experiencing a "Paper Jam" problem even though there is no apparent paper jam. The paper doesn't even feed into the printer prior to the display indicating that there is a paper jam.
There is a 13 month fuse in those Officejets. It blows exactly 13 months after purchase and gives that problem. Unfortunately the people at Hp will not make parts available for those models. It has to go back to HP so they can make more obscene profits. Better yet, they'd like you to toss it and buy one of their never ending parade of new models. I'm being cynical, but it's not too far from the truth.
