HP 4M 62.3 Error code

I just finished installing the 50 Service code kit to resolve this problem. Just as before the installation, however, the unit displays an "18 AUX I/O INIT" after bootup. I haven't used this printer, so I have no clue what it's supposed to do. The printer was tossed due to the 50 error code. I do, apparently, have one defective SIMMs card, but otherwise it looks like something has been improved by the kit.
Hello, Tom:

Sounds like you have cleared the 62.3 error by removing the defective SIMM. The 18 AUX I/O Init is the JetDirect card trying to find the external connection. It should not affect your printer if you connect it directly to your PC's LPT port. IF you don't want to see it. Just remove the JetDirect card from your printer.

Thanks for the info. The printer works great, I'll probably live with the message. Especially now that I know what it is. Today was a pretty good day, thanks to fixyourownprinter.com, I have two printers back in action. From three useless HP's to two working great and one mostly going in one afternoon for about $60.
