Hp HP LaserJet 4M

HP 4M will no longer power ON - dead

We have had this HP 4M since new. Incredibly reliable over the years. About 3 months ago, we moved it to a new location. After pushing the power switch, a few of the lights would flash and then go out. The printer would not power up. Moved it a bit and tried it again. This time it powered up. For the next few days, it sometimes required several attempts before it would stay ON.
Then, for several months, it worked just fine, until last night. Lights will occasionally flash briefly and then stay OFF. Most of the time, nothing happens.
Read thru all the posts I could and saw a couple of suggestions re replacing the HV Power Supply and the Main Power Supply. Do you find that both need to be replaced? Any other suggestions? And, does anyone on the forum offer either of them? I do not seem them offered in the parts section.
BTW - I did pull the network Ethernet card and re-insert it. And, pulled the Main Power Supply in and out, looking for anything loose or arcing. Neither 'fix' helped.
Thanks in advance.
HV power supply has absolutely nothing to do with it. It isn't even used until you print something. Sounds like the Main Power supply needs replacement.

Sorry, I don't. Make sure you get one for a 4 as the 4+ and 5 use a different power supply. New ones aren't available, you'll have to settle for a working used one.

Just a follow up post on this problem. Found and ordered a used main power supply, installed it and the HP 4M works! Thanks to Moe for your help!
