Epson Epson Stylus Photo R280

Epson r280 clogged jets

Hey all,
Ive had an epson r280 for quite some time. Used to use it frequently but not anymore. After sitting idle for a couple months. I changd the ink and couldnt get it to print where it wasnt choppy. Brought it to the service store, they said the jets were clogged with dry ink and it happens after sitting for a long time. It cost $100 after more new ink that day to get it fixed.

Its now six months later, thats how often I need to print, and guess what, that big bad ink light is on and its doing the same thing again. Im not spending another $100 to fix this thing...

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could fix this myself?

Looking forward to your replies!
Order a kit like this http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/kits/epson/K89 and you can clean the print heads anytime you need to.
