Lexmark Lexmark Other 4029

lexmark 4029

all i get is a blank page
i have no error codes
all connections look good
it sat around for about 8 months
Without any error codes, it could only be 2 things. Lack of high voltage or the drum not turning. Check 2 things. See if the transfer corona wire on the bottom of the machine is broken. If it is, the toner won't be pulled down on the paper. Other thing is make a mark on the edge of the cartridge drum. If it moves, it's ok. If it doesn't the drum isn't turning so no image.

Lexmark 4029-30 is making grinding noises and getting error 921 messages.

I periodically get "921 Service" message on the LED readout. When I turn the printer off & on again with the power switch, it comes back to ready right and prints just fine. The toner cartridge is practically new, and the print is fine when I finally get it.

According to the Lexmark error code page on this site, that is a fuser error. Since it is intermittent, I'd suspect it is a fuser lamp on the way out. If you want to try replacing it (not easy) we have lamps (no video instructions)

Check the shutter on your cartridge, if it doesn't open and close right, it will cause blank pages.
