Hp HP Color Copier 150

HP Workhorse comparable to HP4000

Not really a repair question, but figured the folks here would be knowledgeable about what would be a good replacement for the HP 4000. The 4000 has served us well and we currently have 150+ units in use company wide as well as a few HP4250's. We would like to stick with HP just for the familiarity. What would people recommend? What are your opinions on the below?

Seems to have already been replaced.

HP (differences in these models?)

Are any of the DIMM modules for the HP4000 interchangeable with either unit above? What about the JetDirect cards?
Why are you replacing the 4000s if they're work horses? That terminology went out the window when the Chinese started making all the printers.

The owner is guessing the 4000's are getting old and will be harder to replace as time goes on. We're just wanting to get an idea on what would be a good replacement for them.

The owner sounds a bit "slow." He's about ten years behind in his guess.

If you want a workhorse, you probably can't beat the 4200/4300 series. Just make sure they are fully refurb'd, or have low mileage.

If you want all the latest gizmos, speed, software compatibility and manuf. warranty, go with the M600 series.
