Hp HP LaserJet 4

HP Laserjet 4+

I have an old HP Laserjet 4+. Went to replace the toner cartridge tonight, and my NOS replacement cartridge has jammed gears. Is it possible to get to the gears in the cartridge to try to free them up, or should I just get a new cartridge?
The cartridge splits up in 2 halves, allowing access. Simply remove the 2 screws on the top of the cartridge and pull the clamps off. Then you can determine which half is causing the issue by turning the gears with your finger. If you need a replacement, this site sells new original OEM cartridges.
