Network printing from win98

We have a HP1100 that is connected to a WindowNT Server (installed as standalone). When we try to print from a window98 system, the job goes into the print queue. But when it reaches its turn, the queue just disappear with printing anything. When we try printing from other WindowNT systems, it print fine.

Any one has any idea what could be the problem?

You probably have the printer installed wrong, both on the server and on your computer.
Here's a quick rundown on how to install NT printers on 98 computers: Share the printer on the server, then change the port on the client from lpt to the share name, eg \\\\server\\hp1100. Make sure you have an account for your computer on the server; just go to user manager and add your windows login. Also check that the client is physically connected to the server which is connected to the printer. Or, just use jetdirect!
