HP 8100 DN paper jam tray 4 side door

Hi all,
I am now experiencing a paper jam in the side door of the tray 4 on my 8100 DN. The tray is currently holding letter sized paper. I replaced the two blue and one black pickup rollers but that wasn't the problem.

Most times, the paper is feeding from the tray into the side door (on it's way up to the printer) but stopping at the first plastic swing lever at the bottom of the side door. Once in a while, paper makes it past there but stops just below the top of that side door.

I am getting a grinding noise that is coming from that general area when the door is closed and the paper is feeding. However, when I open the door and manually push in the lever that tells the printer that the Tray 4 side door is closed, I hear no grinding and both the top and bottom roller mechanisms turn for about two seconds before stopping.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what is causing this jam?
