Canon Canon Pixma MG5220

Remove the AC Adapter from MG5220

I have a Canon MG5220 printer that won't turn on. I bought a new power cord and AC adapter, but can't figure out how to remove the old one. Does it take a special tool??? The screws don't look like anything I've seen. They have very small round holes. Can someone help me???????
Got an answer from someone on Ebay who sells the adapters, very tricky, they aren't screws at all. DUH. Thanks for anyone who was trying to help me.
