LJ 4345MFP DC Controller fails again and again

Hi guys
I have a problem with a new HP Laserjet 4345 mfp. I installed it two months ago(May 2011). On June 17, the printer failed to initialise with a 55.00.00 error message(dc controller error).

I got a new dc controller to be sent down from the U.S(I'm in Nigeria) which I installed on June 21 2011. After installation, the mfp worked fine.
Then yesterday(July 4 2011), the mfp broke down again with the same error message(dc controller error).

Please Im at my wits end. This is a new Printer for crying out loud! what could be the problem? your advice is urgently needed.
I have found conflicting information on the hp site.

55.XX.YY DC CONTROLLER ERROR To continue turn off then on
A problem exists with the MFP memory. The DIMM that caused the error will not be used. The following list explains the meaning of X:
0 = Onboard memory
1 = Slot 1
2 = Slot 2
Recommended action
Reseat or replace the specified DIMM. Turn the MFP off, and then replace the DIMM that caused the error. Make sure to use the correct DIMM for this MFP.

If a message persists after performing all of the recommended actions, contact an authorized HP Service or Support Provider: Click here for information on contacting HP Customer Care.

I would think you may have a issue with the formatter since that connects to the dc controller.
