I have this printer that, when powered up, goes right into a paper jam condition. I see no paper in the path and no paper when removing the duplex assy. The paper exit flag seems normal. Does anyone have any ideas or previous experience with this? Thanks, Gerald

Whenever there is an "unseen" paper jam, I always try to clear it by shoving my jam clearing tool along the paper path. Most times that is effective and some scrap of paper pops out. Sometimes nothing pops out, but the jam indication disappears. Lacking the jam clearing tool (which is available in the specials section of the site), one can use a file folder cut to size. It's not as stiff, but works most of the time. I've had jams where I've needed 3 jam clearing tools stacked together to push it out. Popped out a metal shelf peg that way once.
