Laserwriter Pro 630 Prints half width

I have an Apple Laserwriter Pro 630 which continues to print well. It just won't die.

In the last couple of days it begin shrink the print width to about 1/2 page even though it shows full width in the chooser. The complete document is printed at the 1/2 width. It also prints out the standard start up page in 1/2 width.

I have deleted and reinstalled the printer. Shut down and restarted the printer and computer.

I am using it on the latest version of Leopard on a MacBook Pro. I did nothing that I am aware of that would have caused the change.

Anybody have any suggestions for a fix?
I'm having problems picturing exactly what you are describing. As I understand it, the document is printed in its entirety, but it is compressed side to side, but is the correct length. Is that correct? Run a quick check for me please. Stick a straightened paper clip in this hole http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/reference/guides/engine/ex
You should get a page of lines. Do they cover the whole page?
Please answer both questions.

1. Yes

2. Found the test print button. it is black surrounded by a silver colored metal. It is now flush with the silver colored metal.
I pushed both hard and nothing happened. No printing at all. The button did not seem to move.

I tried a paper clip and a ball point pen refill.

By the way thanks for your quick response.

You can't see the test button. Look again where the red arrow points on the black plastic sidewall. There is just a small hole with the test button inside it.

I tried the correct hole. It is marked by an arrow which points to it (it is embossed in but it is not red). I believe it may be stuck. It has been touch for the over 10 years that I have had the printer. This time I tried with a small phillips head screwdriver-still nothing.

By sighting close to the left front and using a flashlight, I could see the button. - unknown
