Canon Canon Pixma MP750

Canon Pixma MP750

Anyone have any ideas on what may be wrong, my canon mp pixma 750 will not power on. Have checked cord and power is coming into machine up to the controller board. Initially the display was lit up but not displaying information properly and when unplugged it no longer powers on. Any thoughts appreciated. Looks like there may be a fuse on the controller board but it looks permanent. DG
My Canon PIXMA MP750 - all of a sudden does not turn on power.
I asked Canon and told me that probably it is a Power Supply fault. I tried plugging and unplugging but in vain.
Can it be a dead fuse? Where do I open to check the power supply. Do you have any idea what could have happened? I don't think that the whole electric circuit has burnt up. I didn't notice any odour. When I put it on the side where I plug the wire becomes a bit warm. I checked the wire - it's OK.
Thanks for any help you may give me.
