Hp HP LaserJet 4

HP Photosmart 3210 Scanner

I've had one of these printers running satisfactorily for 4 years - it developed a fault (screen went duff) and I picked up another of Ebay for £20.

I have the printer wired through the house router so all PC's can print with it. I had to change the IP address in Control Panel/Printers from to ....72 to get the comms for the 'new' one sorted out and it prints fine for everyone, but the scanner doesn't want to talk at all - it is photocopying OK though. HP have a Scanner Diagnostic utility which when run says it can't find the scanner because it's registered to IP address, and doesn't offer a route to changing it. And Control Panel/ Scanners and Cameras doesn't help either.

I don't want to do a re-install of the software as I don't have the CD and it's a 500mb download from HP. Would I be right in thinking that the ...67 IP address will be stored in the Registry, and could therefore offer a quick and dirty(?) change ?
