Hp HP Color LaserJet 2840

HP Laserjet 2840

I am getting black splotches all over my printed pages. And all along the right side of the page is black. I had purchased a non hp brand imaging drum and it was not bad to start off with but now the output is horrible? Is there any way to fix this, or do I need to get a hp imaging drum.
There's nothing wrong with remanufactured units if they're done right. Can you return it to where you got it from? They should warranty it if you haven't had it that long.

I honestly do not remember who I bought it from now. I have had it too long, it is appx 50\% down. I think I am just going to order HP brand from now on.

That's a good idea. I've seen a lot of bad remanufactured cartridges screw up the printer. I had a 2840 come in just yesterday where the cyan seized up and messed up the carousel drive. Had one the week before where 2 cartridges seized up and messed up the drive. It's a common phenomenon with remanufactured cartridges.
