PRIF4 Parallel Bi-directional Interface Card for SC900ADJ

Hello all,

I need information regarding an Epson PRIF4 Parallel Bi-directional Interface Card, and/or the availability (if available) of updated Windows calibration software to SC900ADJ to execute print head voltage and bi-directional calibration adjustments specified per Epson Stylus Color 900 Service Manual(Revision C) PN:SEIJ98006.

This Epson Stylus Color 900 printer was manufactured in 1998, and was just recently opened from the original factory-sealed box. The owner took it to a local independent ink re-filler, who also does printer repairs as once it feeds paper, it then enters into a Fatal Error state after the carriage leaves the park position.

From what I've been told, they replaced the 3-volt BIOS battery. I'm assuming that the EEPROM data was lost when the battery either reached a total discharge state from being 12+ years old, or when it was removed for replacement.

The ONLY info that I can find on this PRIF4 Parallel Interface Card is in every other language but English. I contacted Epson USA Support, with them being absolutely no help at all. For all I know, the PRIF4 Parallel Interface Card may not even be required to perform adjustments in English.

Thanks in advance for any info,
Mike
