Epson 3000 issues

My printer experienced a head assembly jam some weeks ago. I was able to free it seemingly without any undue force. It now parks correctly and works smoothly. I frequently use the maximum width of the print area and since the incident printing starts about one inch further from it's resting point than it used to. How can I move the printing back to the original start point?

Another issue is that I only use the black ink on this machine since it's dedicated to making film transparencies for screen printing using a RIP software. The other colors have gradually depleted from head cleanings and occational use and I want to re-set them and not have to buy a whole set of color inks just to use the black.

I've downloaded and installed the SSC Service Utility which sees my printer and correctly detects the ink levels, but all the resetting functions arn't available. I've searched for solutions in the help file and on their forums, finally posting for some assistance. Hopefully I'll get it.

Meanwhile if I could fix this print area problem it would help me greatly.

Thanks in advance!
