Epson Epson Artisan 710

small piece fell into printer

A little piece of plastic fell into my Epson 710(a few millimeters in diameter). I am not sure where it is, but it hasn't caused any printing problems so far.

I turned the printer upside down and gently tipped it back and forth, but could not hear or locate the piece.

Should I do anything else? As I said, the printer is working fine, but I am worried it might get damaged if I don't make sure the piece is removed.

About the only thing you can do besides tearing it apart is to tip it upside down and do what you did. Typically I dont worry about plastic. Metal is a different story you dont want that to get on a board. So I probably would say your safe. The machines are pretty strong and theres not really to much in there to get damaged.
