Canon Canon Pixma MP140

Canon MP140 Printer Problem


I have a Canon MP140 printer and ran out of colour and black ink.I replaced the black as that is what i use most,i could print n photocopy but when i tried to print something from my laptop,the paper went through as normal but no ink on it.Now i cant even print,my printer is flashing E then 4,also the colour light is flashing,can anyone help me with this as in my manual it doesn't have trouble shooting?Thanks

E4 on screen, that means your cartridge is out of ink

you must buy new cartridge

I've replaced both black and colour cartridges and can now print ok but i keep getting a message up saying my ink is low,how come?ried to join that forum amazemind but wouldn't let me :-(

Are you print a lot of after that you replaced new cartridges ??

How many of pages on A4 that you printed ?

It just comes up ink low,but it does print ok.Also the yellow colour light on the printer is flashing and the black light is on but not flashing

my MP 140 pixma canon cannot load and print the paper. it says paper jam. so i try to clean the roller as manual. it says 3 paper should be put for roller cleaning process but it can not pull these 3papers. so i need to know how to solve it. please reply me as soon as possible

I just bought two new cartridges, black and color, i can scan, but when i try to print something it takes the paper and does as if it was printing but it comes out with no ink on it, also when i try to make photocopies it does the same thing. Any home solution to this problem?

Hi there! I would like for expert advices as well as solutions on how I could fix my canon MP140 Printer. The problem is that it stopped functioning as a scanner and as a printer. it says that I've cancelled the operation while scanning, whenever I tend to scan some pictures. Hope you'll be able to reply any easy remedies for my problems. Thank You!

My printer say ink absorber full with mess E, 2, 7. I tried to clean where I think the absorber is, but still the same message. Can anyone give advice please! Need to print urgently!

Was working fine, then started to say "paper jam". Have cleared paper and put in new paper but will not print ... continues to send me the same message. Have switched off the prinetr and re-booted, but no luck What can I do next?

When I press for print, I get the following message on my computer The screen " The ink absorber is full, Contact the service center"

When I open printer for checking the cartridges, they go on extreme right instead of coming to left side, thus difficult to be removed from the socket for refilling or changing.

Have you removed the tape from the bottom of the cartridge?
