Apple 16/600 vs. HP LaserJet 4m

I have recently acquired a LaserWriter 16/600 and am about to give away a still functional 240 volt LaserJet 4m. I understand there are quite a few similarities between the two. Does it make sense to keep the LaserJet for parts? Obviously the fuser and power supply cannot be used, but what about all the other bits and pieces?
The printers have almost no parts in common between them. The only similarity is that they both use a Canon engine. One is an EX and the other is an EXII derivative. You should be able to sell the 4M if it's working.
