Yep, test page blank. The very first page out had a faint black ink band at the bottom of the page, 2nd page and subsequent pages blank. - Anonymous
How about the laser/scanner shutter. If it fell off or the mech is not working no image will print on page.

The other thing that causes it is the toner cartridge guide. It sits above the front end of the toner cartridge and pushes it down. If it is missing (and I'll never figure out how they disappear) then you will get blank pages. It's a black plastic piece about 3" by 10".

Check the metal shutter in front of the laser like DMZ suggested. They sometimes fall off of the pegs on the sides. You'll have to take the top off to do so. Also check the guide I suggested. You don't have to take anything apart to do so. Take the cartridge out and feel around the top part behind where it sat. You should feel the black plastic assy. If you feel bare metal, it's missing. I've seen a few missing and when I ask if they noticed a long plastic part that was inside and maybe got thrown away, I get blank stares and shrugs. I figure that it's like socks that disappear in a dryer. Everyone knows the dryer consumes them for fuel.
