Epson Epson Stylus Photo RX620

end of service life Epson RX620

Help how do I deal with this. Error message on the printer `parts of your printer are at the end of their service life. It was working perfectly until this message came up. I`ve tried SSCServe . Nothing here seems to happen.
To clear the error message and reset the printer - Hold down the STOP and the B&W Start buttons while powering on the printer. This should clear the error message and reset the printer

Brilliant! Was really dreading having to replace the printer which (like the other poster's) had been working great until the error message popped up. Thanks SO much for this - now the scanner AND the printer work beautifully again! ~KT

Yes, this worked for me too, it's an excellent printer with many features which newer printers don't have. The B&W button is the light grey button on the right of the OK button and the STOP button is the pink coloured one on the extreme right of the panel. Holding these down before and on switching the machine on does the trick.Very quickly you get a message in the screen, the last word is 'FINISHED'. Then switch the machine off and on again, and it's as good as new. EXCEPT that the ink pad could probably do with 'cleaning' using paper towels to soak up the excess ink. Ver pleased! This cost £30 before!

did not work for me. saw four text lines ending in 'turn off printer'. Printer turned off with a clunk. Restart and still have "end of life" message.
