HP IIIp Memory Upgrade

My self-test report indicates that my RAM size = 1024K bytes. This vey well may be the OEM memory card. Can I add memory to this old fella? How much can I add, where can I find the card(s) and how much shouldit cost me?

Thanks so much

"Overflowing" in Decatur IL.

That is OEM memory. You can add up to 4mb. We're presently out of stock on memory. We were selling them for $10mb. Expect to pay more elsewhere. Don't ask when we'll get more, I don't know myself.

Moe: Reminds me of a story -
gal comes into the butcher shop and says: "How can
you charge $2.99/pound for hamburger when Mr. Schultz,
across the street, has a big sign in his window selling
it for $.99?"

"Simple; we're not out of it...."

[grin]

It's got to cost you more than $10/mb to process
an order for this stuff. Sure that's not a typo?

(I wouldn't mind a couple MB at that price myself, if
any ever turns up.)

Regards!
