HP OJ 5610 All in one

I have a message of "Align Page" press Ok, when i press Ok the printer starts printing the alignment page, the next message is to place the "print out Align page" face down on scanner glass and press Ok, from here the problem starts no activity on the printer and I notice that the Scanner is not moving and the lamp is not working. Please, can someone help me to resolve this problem.
