HP Laserjet 4 Plus stops feeding paper - no jam

I just replaced the delivery rollers on my HP Laserjet 4 because of paper jams. Now it prints fine - no jams. The pages just don't exit completely out of the printer. They come 1/2 way out and stop. No errors or jams. Is there a setting I missed or does anyone have advice? Thanks!
Sounds like the output roller at the top of the delivery assembly is bad, I know you said you just replaced them, but that's what your symptom indicates.

There are idler rollers under the output roller, it's possible you did something to them during the rebuild process, but it does not seem likely.

You could try cleaning the roller with water or simple green in case it is just dusty.

Really unusual for it to stop half-way out, especially with no error. I can't remember ever seeing that happen. Exactly where is the bottom of the paper in relation to the top and bottom delivery rollers?

I've seen it happen once, and the upper roller was glazed and slipping.

It seems to have fixed itself now. I don't know why it did this for about 30 pages, but now seems to be working perfectly.

Moe, sorry I didn't open the cover with the paper still in the tray so I don't know where it stopped in relation to the rollers. If it happens again I will check.

Thanks for the responses Moe and Stephen!!

There are two exit rollers in the output assembly at the top/back of the printer. One is easily seen if you open the back door assembly. That one is easy to clean - make sure you remove the fuser if you try to spin it.

To get at the second, you need to remove the top cover (one screw under toner door, two screws in back - be careful when lifting up, the display is attached to the base)
You have to then remove the black cover on top of the assembly to get at the very top roller set. It has little clips and shifts forward than up (if that makes sense) and has a ground attachement to the base.
Clean the rollers, replace them if they are too shiney/worn. Part RG5-1076 and RG5-1077.. don't ask me how I remember weird/old part numbers. :)
The white gear at the bottom of the exit assembly that meets up with the fuser constantly breaks down also - if you know enough to pull the fuser out, look underneath at the gear and make sure it's ok too.

About a 2 months ago my printer stopped printing the whole page of a half sheet. It will not print on the right side of the paper. Any clues?

Thank you.

most likely your toner cartridge.

could be a few other things, there is a black deflector underneath the laser scanner that can warp or shift out of place. If your transfer roller is damaged, I suppose that could do it. or your laser scanner assembly is dirty or has broken mirrors (haven't seen many broken mirrors, but possible)
