Streaks on edge with HP 5M
I just inherited a relatively new (less than 5000 pages printed) HP 5M printer. It came with a fresh unopened rebuilt (3rd party) toner cartridge. After about 300 pages, I now see an intermittent black line at the very edge of the right side of the printed 8.5 x 11 page. Is this excess toner left on the fuser roller, or a bad drum from a tired rebuilt cartridge. What should I look for?
Thanks in advance. You have helped me in the past rebuilding a trusty old QMS PS810 (new rollers, full cleaning, new ozone filter) with your video tutorial. Keep up the good work.

Moe:
FWIW, when I move the shutter on the cartridge and look at the drum, I see a few circumferential rings of toner in what appear to be scratches, more on the ends of the drum. Am I dealing with an overused, poor quality rebuilt cartridge? Do you recommend sticking with HP for new carts, or another vendor of new (not rebuilt) carts?
Thanks again.
Yes get a new cartridge. Goto EBSMICRO.COM I have used these cartridges and they work very well.
Many thanks for the advice.
