Epson Epson Stylus Photo RX620

continuouis ink system epson rx620

I would appreciate any information on fitting a continuous ink system to the epson rx 620 or similar.I believe I need to remove the cartridge carrier lid for a start but dont want to force it so would be glad for any help.
I have a CIS with my RX 620 and I didn't remove the cartridge carrier.
I got the cartridge holder to close without contricting the ink supply hoses and it worked fine. My problem is not getting my printer to recognize my CIS cartidge chips most of the time ( If I turn the printer off). I get it to work by repeatedly pushing the ok button for whatever error message pops up.

If you are getting the "Ink Cartridges" cannot be recognised error message its most likly you have a CISS with the wrong generation mirco-chips.

Most systems are now using version v4.1 or v5.0 chips. You can find the version number on the front of the microchips.
