Epson Epson Stylus Color 3000

EPSON 3000 won't print color

All of a sudden I can't get color output from my 3000. Black prints fine. I have tried the head-cleaning routine, using Epson Printer Utility to do a Nozzle Check (I get only the black lines), etc. I have just recently tried the demo of PowerRIP and got some beautiful color prints. I've been using Gutenprint with varying results - but I still got color. Now, no color using any driver or RIP.

Any ideas what's going on? Is there a separate pump for each head?
The pump rotates in one direction for the black head and the other direction for the color head. Move the carriage off the capping station and put some water on the rectangular pad to the far right. That is the color one. Now press the color head cleaning button once and then move the carriage to see if the water is still on the cap. If it is the pump is clogged. If not try putting some ammoniated windex on the cap and move the carriage back on top of it. Do not turn the machine back on yet. Let it sit overnight and it should unclog any dried ink in the head. There could be numerous other issues here too.
