Canon Canon Pixma MP190

need help with instuctions to reset ink

Ok I admit it I am a natural blond....
I can't figuer out which buttons to push. the only one that is labled on my printer is the scan button. I assume that the copy might be either the black or the color buttons (but which one should I press???) and perhaps the menue might be the one with the tools by it??? and how do I know if it is in test mode? only have a screen with a number/letter not words. maybe I am looking at the wrong printer all together, cause mine is a canon pixma mp190 not an mpc.... please help...

Hi
Try this, but make sure you have paper loaded and the ink cartridges in the printer.

Reset Waste Ink
1) Enter SERVICE MODE by pressing
Menu, Copy, Scan, Copy, Copy (then use the l&r arrow keys)
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [Set] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

hope this helps.
