Apple LW Select 360: fuser too cold, loose toner

Hello to you guys,

I had to replace the fuser unit on an Apple LaserWriter Select 360 with a "new old" one still in storage, since the one in there before had a totally scratched heater roller that left big old marks on the paper.

Now, the toner is not fixed completely, it comes of partially if you move your finger across the paper. It seems the new fuser doesn't get quite hot enough. But it's not completely cold, you can see the heater bulb light up like it should.

Is there any way to regulate the fuser temperature to a few degrees higher? I assume you could manipulate that sensor some way. Unfortunately this case is not in the official service manual from Apple.

By the way I tried to post this into the existing LW 360 thread but couldn't see how.

Many thanks in advance for any help, tearex
