Color Stylewriter 2400 does not power up
I've got an Apple CSW 2400 that does not power up. The printer emits a soft, high-pitched whine when plugged into the wall socket, but pressing the "On" button doesn't start it up. I took the printer apart and checked the fuse which was intact. The whine seems to come from a large 400V 82 microfarad capacitor near the power socket, but could be any component around it. Has anyone encountered anything like this before? The printer isn't worth very much, but seems a waste throwing it away.
