Hp HP LaserJet 4

LaserJet 5L Comments

I think these machines are crummy and its a real bomb

I wouldnt recommend this model at all.

If Moe thinks its a good model hes is wrong,
If Moe agress with my comments.

They always jam and they dont deal with paper that well.

Either buy a HP LaserJet 4 or 5 Series they are better than 5L

If you want a good personal printer you cant go past the IIIP
I agree, HP's printers have been on the decline in workability.
From personal to the office machines.
It is almost worth printing one page then getting a good copier and sit back and copy the rest.
I have been unhappy with HP products for a while. There will never be another 3si or 4si made by them. The 8100's and 9000's I dislike. Unfortunatly we have a ton of them that I work on.
The 5l's we have are in the "dungeon" (our old and broken parts place in the basement)!!!!
I have been thinking alot about going to copy machines instead.

I never said the 5L/6L was a good printer. We have a 6L we use in the shipping dept. for printing shipping labels. It's there because it fits under the desk. If you want a light duty, small unit it serves the purpose. All vertical feed printers have feed problems. They are cheaper to manufacture.
