Problem with my Epson 1520

Hi, first of all, sorry for my poor english. Well, i have a problem with my Epson 1520, i dissasembly the ink inyectors (i dont know if that its spelled right) to clean them because the ink was dry, then, i reassembly all but the leds "ink out" of color and black ink are ON always, i dont know wath to do! everything its on place, i think that i assembly all very well, i dissasembly and assembly again to make sure everything was all right , but the problem stills... wath can i do? Thaks for the help.
Check the connection of all the ribbon cables going to the carriage and printheads. If they are all good, take them out one by one and check that none of the contacts on the cables have folded over. If they have, simply use a fingernail, put it on the cable above where the fold starts and pull it towards the end and it should straighten out. If this has happened, then be careful inserting it so that it doesn't fold again.

In addition to the cables, try depressing the visible vertical metal tab at the rear of the printheads. When a cartridge is installed, that tab makes contact with a contact on the printhead printed circuit board, signalling that a cartridge is in place. Perhaps you can use the eraser end of a pencil to push the metal tab and see if a light goes out. - Scotty
