Epson Epson Stylus Color 3000

Epson 3000 Problems??

I have a Epson 3000 and the black head was clogged (printing some ink but not solid black) I removed the black print head cleaned it reinstalled in now the printer will not print anything. Before it printed cyan yellow magenta good now it will not print anyting. When I click print the printer goes through the normal motions and the head moves back and forth but no ink at all.

I cleaned the black with a syrenge forcing water through the head (upon reading furter that was probably not a good idea)
Would the black head being bad not let the others print?
Any Ideas?
You have probably pulled the flat ribbon cable from the connector on the back of the colour head. Will have to take it apart again and reseat it and see what happens.

I took it back apart and it was not unplugged. However I noticed on the black print heat ribbon connector the second one from the bottem looks burn/melted! Has any one ran into this? Thanks for any help in advance.

You either got the board wet and plugged it in or didn't unplug the printer when you made the repair is my guess. I work on a lot of 3000's and can tell you almost definitely you fried the mainboard. If the colors worked before the repair and don't now it's fried. Been there done that.
