67 Error

I'm getting a "67 Service" error on our HP 4MV printer. The Troubleshooting page on this site says "4V/4MV - Most common cause is a defective paper guide plate assembly." but how does one fix this? Is it possible to do or does it require a tech?
The assembly has to be replaced. Not too difficult, about 8 screws and it pops out. No alignment worries.

I've also been getting the "67 Service" error on my Laserjet 4V, but only when using the MP tray. So, it would appear that the "paper guide plate assembly" is indeed the culprit. The part(s) is available from HP for $170! Is it possible that something can be done short of replacing the whole assembly? What is available from you and do you have tech information that would allow me to just try removing and reinstalling it?

I can give you one for less than $100. I have to check current pricing and get back to you. Not too difficult to replace.
