Epson Epson Stylus CX3600

epson cx3600 -

Epson software displays the message "Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life." and my printer refuses to play any more.

I have deployed the SSC service utility as recommended in earlier forum threads, and reset the counters. But still no joy. Somebody suggested replacing the waste ink pads, but I can't see how to get at them. Any ideas how to get my printer working without expensive servicing, please?

Many thanks.
When you reset the waste ink counter using SSC Service Utility, next you have to turn off the device and unplug its power cord for several minutes. Now the counter should be resetted. In the future you have to replace or wash the waste ink pads, because gathering waste ink can make some trouble. The waste ink pads are on the bottom of the device and it has to be disassembled to get at them.

many thanks, I'll give that a try.
I'm not clear how to disassemble the printer though - there don't seem to be any assembly screws visible. Any ideas please?
