Hp HP OfficeJet 7210

3 Busted HP 7210 (s), can I make one good one? :)

How do I either replace the carriage? Or Replace the power supply (not the plug). But the connectors inside the printer... details below.

Ok, I have 3 broken HP7210's long story. However I will go into a little detail.

1. Had the torn plastic in the carriage... everyone is familiar with.
1. I made the mistake (and don't laugh) I read somewhere to spray water with a hose to clean it out if it was not printing, I figured I did not have anything to loose. So, I sprayed the insides hoping it will clear gunk... Now ofcourse I fried it :)
1. Again, the carriage (although no tears) would not read properly...

So, I was thinking maybe I can swap parts? Making one good printer. I am cheap, and I bought a couple of these off of ebay, I use the heck out of them so I did get my monies worth I suppose.

Thanks in advance.

Disassembling those is really difficult, I wouldn't suggest it unless you are really good mechanically. If you're having to ask, I kind of doubt you have the ablilities. That being said, why not just use hp chat and tell them you have the x-bias spring broken problem. They'll send you a replacement. There are lots of posts detailing the procedure and what to say on the forum.
