HP Laserjet 6p print feeding problems

I have had my hp laserjet 6p and it has done about 8,000 pages. everything works fine except getting the paper into the printer.

I switch it on, do a test page or print a document, it hums getting ready to print but doesnt pick up the paper to print it on. All it does then is put all of its lights on to show an error.

Look here.

When all the lights come on, push both buttons simultaneously and tell us what the secondary light sequence is.

That's a fuser error. It's not heating up to operating temperature. You'll have to replace the fuser assembly. That entails taking the cover off and pulling out the 4 screws holding it in.

is it really worth it? i dont mind taking it apart but what is the cost of a new fuser assembly in GBP? Let me know what you think.

BTW thanks so've been a great help! - Guy_laister
