HP p3005dn 13.05 jam erorr
Hello,
I have been using this forum for quite some time now, and it has helped me out with a number of repairs.
But in all my web searching for this specific problem I have not been able to come up with a solution.
the printer is getting a 13.05 error. I have checked the paper path and it is clear. the paper just stops an inch into the fuser. the leading edge of the paper is fine, its not getting snagged on anything. With the covers off I can see that the fuser and the drive gears are turning like normal. the problem is some what intermittent, I may get 5 pages between jams.
any help would be very welcome.
Thanks,
Eric

If it's intermittent, it's not likely to be a sensor issue. Best guess would be due to film sleeve sticking because of inadequate lubrication. Just a guess based on what you describe. Does it happen less often if you're doing a longer print job? As it heats up, it should stick less.
The most I can get is 5 pages without a jam. and thats just running a paper path test same.
I did find this same problem on another forum, but it went unresolved. So i posted on that one to revive the thread.

We have fixed this problem by lubricating the shaft on the swing arm. Time will tell if this is solution.
