HP 4100tn Problems

This printer is shifting the document margins to the left, and cutting it off. I checked all of the applications that is being used to print and the margins are okay. I have turned it off, turned it back on and it works just fine until the next time. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try? I would be most greatful.
Your post is somewhat confusing. Turning it off and back on corrects the problem, is that right? What exactly does "it works just fine until the next time" mean?

Sorry about the confusion Moe. Before turning the printer off, the document prints shifting the margins to the left, cutting my document off. When I turn the printer back on and print a document, it prints within the specified margins in page setup. This is what I was meaning by saying that it worked just fine. Sorry.

Still not clear as to what is happening. How long does it take before it goes bad? What are you doing that could cause it? Are you running a different program? We need as much information as we can get since you know what's going on and we don't.

This happens about between 1 and 2 months apart. We are not using any special program. My user is printing an email attachment in .pdf and .doc. - loretta.mabrey
I really thing we are dealing with a software issue here even though the post is very very confusing. Simple for the user to check. When it happens before turning off the printer go to the information menu and print a configuration page. If it prints with the correct margins then the issue is the user or driver but not the printer.
