Epson Epson Stylus Photo 900

Stylus Color 900

I had my Epson Stylus Color 900 die a slow and painful death recently. Is it worth looking into fixing it.
I'm not a tech, but everything I have heard tells me that these are disposable items. Most of the replacable parts cost almost as much or more than a new printer, and you can't buy the parts and do it yourself. Epson refuses to sell the parts to anyone except technicians.

I am sure that you can find a good, used, working Epson inkjet (like a 777) on eBay for about $30 and it's doubtful that you can repair ANY printer for much less than that!
