Ibm IBM Laser Printer 4019

IBM 4019

I have an IBM 4019 printer that when it prints a document, it prints the entire page at a slight angle. I am assuming that it is how it feeds the paper into the printer but I have cleaned the only rollers I could see and it still does this. Is there an adjust that can be made to fix this or will the kit that is sold here for the 4019 fix this problem? Also is there a manual for this model/engine anywhere?

Look for bell crank under the 4019 section

If you look inside the printer, at the right rear there is a little blue arm with a roller on it. There should be a spring going from the arm to the frame of the printer to provide tension on the roller. The pin that the spring hooks to on the frame of the printer tends to break off. Lexmark has a repair kit for the spring anchor.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these repair kits? My little blue arm seems to be broken there where the spring attaches. - bhowell
When I send text to printer it reacts by first sending me a page with the following data:
@PJL SET PAGEPROTECT=OFF @PJL SET DENSITY=3
@PJL SET RET=OFF
@PJL SET ECONOMODE=OFF
Then the printer produces a second page and stops, never printing all of the data that it was sent.
Can anyone help me?

Probably a driver related issue. Try deleting and reinstalling the driver.

Fantastic then! I just found the kit for $11 on partstore.com. Now lets hope I can install it without breaking the rest of this old tractor.

Thank you!
