note about pagae counts

I saw message here some place where someone expresssed incredulity at a Laserjet III they found with only 26 pages. It IS possible to reprogram the page count through the printer service mode on the II and III (I'm not sure about the others) so beware if you see a printer with an impossibly low number of pages.
We had a Laserjet II in this year for service and it only had about 500 pages on it. If you saw the condition it was in, you wouldn't think someone had turned it back. Looked like it had just come out of the box. We all were marvelling at it. Must have sat in a closet for years. You can reset the page counter on any printer that has a display panel. Just have to know what buttons to push.
