Nec NEC SuperScript 610

NEC Superscript 610

The print quality on this unit is excellent but if you look carfully at the papper it appears that there is some very small ammounts of toner over the whole page (sort of looks ever so slightly dirty) and there a a couple of fine black lines running down the page.
Its like the effect on the old laser printers when the contrast control was turned up too high and in these units was simply a matter of turning it down till they disappeared.
The only thing NEC could tell me was that the intensity control is in the software. This only controls the intensity of the half tone and has no effect on the text darkness or this dirty background. I couldn't find any controls hindden in the guts.
