password on lexmark optraT612

We have an Lexmark Optra T612 Printer with an unknown password! is there someone who can make a factory reset?

I just wanted to know whether the password is set in the printer or the webbrowser. Just let me know about this so that i can have a check and give u the right answer

reset to factory defaults, get to ready toggle menu button over to utilities,select utilities, menu toggle to factory defaults and select. I am not aware of being able to set a password in a T616? You can enable/disable menu but the password must be in your software.

To do the reset the Network Card follow these steps:

NOTE: Tthe ip address will be lost after these steps

1. Power Cycle the printer.

2. On the printer display panel go to

NETWORK MENU ->

STANDARD NETWORK ( or NETWORK OPTION 1) ->

STD NET SETUP (or NETWORK 1 SETUP): Hit SELECT.

3. You will find PRINT

4. Press & Hold the GO button while you press & release the LEFT MENU button (button 1)

5. You will see SE Menu. Release the GO button

6. Browse to NVRAM -> Select -> REINIT NVRAM -> Select

7. Display will go back to READY indicating the NIC is reset
