Epson Epson LQ 800

Epson R380 Waste Tank Full Please Help Reset

I just got an Epson R380 and a CISS used it for a week and BAM! "Service Required"
I printed less then 800 full color flyers, I know thats alot for one week but my HP 8250s have gone over 6k flyers until one died and one is still going with over 7k prints. No waste tank do to the recyling of ink back into the HP 02 ink tanks. I knew there was somthing I liked about them :)
Oh well I realy need to know how to reset this damn printer. please anyone help me. I tryed SSC that doesn't support the R380 with no luck. I can't seem to find a anything else that supports the R380 ether, or the button combo.

Thank you all in advanced.
epson gave me some trouble on the phone and there going to send a replacement but I think once they get the printer back there going to know that I used a CISS and kill there warrenty..Does any one know what is stord on the eprom. I never got a non epson ink warrning with my CISS i used.

well anyway any feedback from anyone would be nice. :)

Did you get the replacement yet? My R310 gives me endless headaches as well, if not for general error messages, i get constant paper jam warnings even though there is no jam. did you try the three button reset? i wonder if epson is able to tell if we used a CISS?

1) I have not recieved a replacemet yet.

2) I have got "out of paper" errors when there was paper in there and somtimes I would need to turn the printer on and off to reset the auto-reset chips, But that was all until i hit the waste counter limit.

3) I don't know and can't find any button combo for the R380

4) I hope Epson can't tell that we have used a CISS, I have never got the message about " Not Genuine Epson Ink Installed"
so I hope the printer doesn't have any data regarding such things :)

have u tried the stop, maintenance and power button combo? anyway i'm fed up with the stinking epson. your paper out problems are the opposite of my problems, i can never print more than one or two shoots or photos nowadays as i always get paper jam problems when no jam has occured. i think the sensor is screwed. time to get a canon ip4300 me thinks.
