Hp HP DeskJet 600

We had a storm come through last night and zapped my HP Officejet 600. I now have a no power condition. I am wondering if there is a replaceable fuse, and if so, where and what is it?

I have discovered that there is a variable resistor that is crispy fried in the modem module on the back. (enough to melt plastic) The unit will not power up at all though. Do you think that the modem being fried would keep the unit from powering on?

My officejet also has no power, but this has happened before to it. i dont know how they fixed it before but both times that it happened, it was because we tried to receive a fax. it could have been a power surge, but i kinda doubt it. if anyone has found a fix to the "no power" problem, please, help me out? thanks
