HP 2430n leaves marks

We have two HP 2430n Laserjet printers and use them for an unusual task - we use them to print caption data on the back of 8x10 photographic prints.

Using them this way we have encountered one major problem - they are now leaving parallel marks on the glossy face (non-lasered side) of the prints.

These marks were not evident when the printers were new - I am guessing that a roller has altered (hardened?)over time.

Is there a way to identify which component might be causing this? Would it be a replacable itme?

TIA

Are you sending them out the back exit? This would eliminate a couple of rollers. Only way to tell which rollers are doing it is to compare the marks with the rollers in the paper path to see which ones are in the same path as the marks.
