HP 5si dard band at top of A4 page, plus lines

I have a HP Laserjet 5si MX printer. When it prints on A4, it has a dark band at the top of the page. There are also some light lines, evenly spaced, vertical on the A4 page.

Can anyone tell me what to check for the cause of these problems? Is it likely just to be the toner?

I have a quick look at the green drum on the toner, and it maybe looks a little dirty, so maybe it is a toner problem..? If it is toner, the dark band would have to do with one end of the toner, and the lines across some of the length of the toner..?

BTW the lines are not always on the same part of the A4 page, but seem evenly spaced. I'm guessing it is on some drum as it turns around, and the spacing is the circumference of the drum... Lines are about 95mm apart.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

The toner cartridge's photosensitive drum circumference is 94mm. Try a known good toner cartridge.
Good luck!
